Historically, the old, corrugated-iron barn next to the biggest swimming hole at our south-western corner boundary, has been the focal point for neighbourhood community activities for decades: from pop concerts in the 1970s, to scoup camps, neighbourhood barbecues and swimming lessons. Weve had many meetings there for local groups were involved in, such as the Possum Creek Landcare Group. Something about the friendly ambience keeps people hanging around for hours.
